Who am I?

Hi, I'm Kathie Holmes, WordPress Designer & Online Marketing Specialist at Lickrish Digital.  I have over 30 years experience in a variety of industries and roles including marketing, management and customer service. In 2005 I turned my attention to online business and discovered the hard way that having a website built, but not maintained or updated, and without a strategy, ends up being a very costly venture.

As someone who has always had a keen interest in technology, I set out to master the online business world (or at least give it a red hot go)! This then started a never ending learning path. I have studied under some of the most influential internet marketers, learnt as much as possible about building a successful website using WordPress, and for the past 20 years, have been supporting small business owners in all facets of their online business.

What am I about?

In my personal life I'm an all-in mum and grandma and that is what has always driven me to run my own business so I can support my daughters and their families. I'm also a craft addict although some would say I am addicted to hoarding of supplies more than the doing) and a lover of all things colour, including a love of colourful art instalations and graffiti street art. 

Turning 50 and being single and solely responsible for my future income, raised my awareness of the fact that so many women are left financially unable to provide for themselves in later life, whether through divorce, illness, being widowed or for the most part, not having worked outside of the home while raising a family. 

Why I'm passionate about women taking control of their financial future!

I have a passion to create change, by supporting those that don't fit the employee mould to take control of their financial future through business ownership, and to have fun doing it. 

When you run your own business you change not only your own life, but the lives of generations to come through changing money patterns, supporting others, leading by example and living your life to your highest potential.

It takes all sorts of people to run all sorts of businesses, hence Lickrish Digital.
